The new Jupiter 125 Dual Tone SmartXonnect comes in two stylish dual-tone colour schemes — Ivory-Brown and Ivory-Grey. TVS has also equipped it with a newly styled seat, along with familiar design highlights such as an LED headlamp and diamond-cut alloy wheels, carried over from the variant it’s based on. Notably, it features a fully digital reverse LCD display, capable of showing call and message notifications, fuel efficiency updates (both real-time and average), low fuel alerts, a trip meter, and more.
Under the skin, the new variant remains mechanically identical to the standard Jupiter 125. It continues to be powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine that produces 8.5 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 11.1 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. The suspension setup is unchanged as well, featuring telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The scooter tips the scales at 108 kg and maintains a ground clearance of 163 mm. Practical features like a generous 33-litre under-seat storage space, front fuel filler, and a 2-litre front open glove box are also retained.
Commenting on the launch, Aniruddha Haldar, Senior Vice President, Head Commuter & EV Business, and Head of Corporate Brand & Media at TVS Motor Company, stated, “Today’s customers seek more than just a scooter; they’re looking for a symbol of their forward-thinking lifestyle. Following the successful launch of the TVS Jupiter 110, it was the right time to refresh the Jupiter 125. The Dual Tone SXC variant represents this evolution, blending performance, comfort, and smart connectivity. Through this launch, we reaffirm our ‘Zyada’ philosophy by offering our customers more of everything that truly matters.”
