After launching the updated Trident 660 globally last year, British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has now introduced a special racing-themed edition of its popular middleweight streetfighter. Named the Triumph Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition, this version sports a distinctive three-tone livery and incorporates all the rider-focused enhancements from the latest iteration of the model. It celebrates the legacy of Slippery Sam, Triumph’s legendary five-time Isle of Man TT-winning machine.

Sporty Styling and Graphics Inspired by Racing Heritage
The Triple Tribute Edition stands out with a dynamic graphic design set against a Sapphire Black base, accented by Cobalt Blue and Diablo Red highlights. A special ‘67’ race number graphic on the fuel tank pays homage to the original 750cc Trident that dominated the Isle of Man TT races in the 1970s.
Adding to its bold look are 17-inch Diablo Red alloy wheels and a matching Sapphire Black flyscreen adorned with the exclusive Triple Tribute graphics. This edition also includes a belly pan and Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter as standard — features that are offered as optional extras on the standard Trident 660.
Feature Highlights of the Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition
The Trident 660 comes equipped with Optimised Cornering ABS, which relies on an Internal Measurement Unit (IMU) to fine-tune braking dynamics. Additionally, the motorcycle features Optimised Traction Control and now comes with Cruise Control as a standard offering.
Riders can choose from three riding modes — Road, Rain, and Sport — accessible via a colour TFT display. This screen is also compatible with the My Triumph Connectivity System, enabling functions like turn-by-turn navigation and media management on the go.
Performance and Technical Specifications
Underneath its special livery, the Triple Tribute Edition retains the same mechanical setup as the standard Trident 660. Power comes from a 660cc, liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder engine, delivering 81 bhp at 10,250 rpm and 63.7 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 rpm. It’s paired with a six-speed gearbox and features a Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter for seamless upshifts and downshifts.
The bike’s chassis comprises a tubular steel frame supported by 41mm Showa USD front forks and a preload-adjustable Showa monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are managed by twin 310mm front discs and a 255mm rear disc.
Price and Availability
Priced at $8,595 (approximately ₹7.26 lakh), the Triumph Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition offers a blend of sporty aesthetics and practical technology. While it has been launched internationally, it remains to be seen if Triumph will introduce this special edition in the Indian market. If it does arrive, enthusiasts can expect a modest price hike over the standard model.
