The latest RAV4 adopts the brand’s signature ‘Hammerhead’ styling for both its headlights and tail-lights, similar to what’s seen on the new Camry sold in India. Its silhouette is noticeably boxier and more upright compared to its predecessor — a design approach that draws inspiration from the rugged character of classic off-roaders like the Land Cruiser. Complementing this tougher stance are chunkier wheel arches, while buyers can choose between 17-, 18-, and 19-inch alloy wheels, depending on the market.
Inside the cabin, the RAV4 has received a comprehensive update. From the redesigned dashboard and steering wheel to the revised air-conditioning controls, everything feels fresh and modern. The standout feature, however, is the new 12.9-inch infotainment touchscreen — a step up from the previous 12.3-inch unit. This screen introduces Toyota’s new Arene infotainment system, a universal platform that, much like Apple’s iOS or Google’s Android, will serve as the foundation for all future Toyota models globally. This platform aims to simplify the addition of new features and ensure faster software updates.

Toyota has also equipped the new RAV4 with enhanced safety technologies, including a rear-approach monitor designed to assist drivers when merging onto highways. Additionally, the brand claims that future software updates will enable the RAV4 to receive downloadable performance packs, offering configurations and features inspired by other Toyota and even Lexus models — all delivered via over-the-air (OTA) updates.
