Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd is set to launch its inaugural all-electric scooter in the Indian market. The e-Access was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and is expected to reach dealerships by June. Manufacturing is taking place at Suzuki’s Gurugram plant in Haryana. The initial units of the e-Access have already been shipped to select showrooms, with a gradual rollout planned across other dealerships nationwide.

Powered by a 3.07 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, the e-Access claims an IDC-certified range of 95 km and has an energy consumption rate of 39 Wh/km. Its 4.1 kW electric motor delivers 15 Nm of torque, allowing the scooter to achieve a maximum speed of 71 kmph. Users can switch between three different driving modes: Eco, Ride A, and Ride B.
In terms of suspension, the scooter features telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock coil spring at the rear. The braking system consists of a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. It rides on 12-inch wheels both front and rear and offers a ground clearance of 160 mm with a seat height of 765 mm.
The e-Access is loaded with modern features such as keyless entry, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation with live traffic updates, a USB charging port, a side-stand safety interlock, and tip-over detection. The scooter comes equipped with LED lights all around, including headlights, tail lights, and indicators. An Auto Ready Cancel function powers off the scooter if left inactive for five minutes. The keyless fob also has a locating feature that activates a beep and flashing indicators to help find the scooter. Additionally, the colour LCD display provides real-time information including battery level, selected ride mode, average energy consumption, remaining range, and odometer readings.
