Ola Electric, a prominent player in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, reported selling over 25,000 units in February 2025, securing a 28% market share in the electric two-wheeler (2W) sector.
A representative from Ola Electric shared, “We have successfully kept up our strong sales momentum and leadership in February. Our broad range of scooters, catering to both the mass market and premium segments, coupled with our extensive network of 4,000 stores across India, has fueled an increasing demand, particularly in Tier 3 and Tier 4 towns outside major cities.”

The company also mentioned that with the anticipated launch of the Ola Roadster X in March, it is optimistic that the move will accelerate the adoption of EVs in the two-wheeler market across India.
Ola Electric clarified that recent contract renegotiations with vehicle registration agencies temporarily impacted the registration figures on the VAHAN portal in February. These changes are designed to streamline the registration process and reduce costs, the company explained.
Moreover, Ola Electric unveiled its third-generation (Gen-3) scooter range, with the S1 X (2kWh) starting at Rs 79,999 and the S1 Pro+ (5.3kWh) priced at Rs 1,69,999.
In addition, the company launched MoveOS 5 in beta, offering new features such as Brake by Wire, Smart Park, DIY ride modes, Bharat Mood, Live Location Sharing, and more.
