Honda has introduced the 2025 edition of its most budget-friendly motorcycle, the Shine 100, in India. The latest model comes with a price tag of ₹68,767, reflecting a slight increase over the previous version.
The key highlight of the new Shine 100 is its compliance with the latest OBD2B emission norms. Additionally, it features updated graphics, while the overall design and mechanical components remain unchanged. The bike continues to be built on a tubular frame and is powered by a 100cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers 7.61bhp and 8.05Nm of torque, paired with a four-speed gearbox.
In terms of features, the Shine 100 is equipped with a halogen headlamp, bulb-type turn indicators, a twin-pod instrument cluster, a side-stand engine cut-off sensor, and a Combined Braking System (CBS) for added safety.
Honda offers the 2025 Shine 100 in a single variant with five color choices. Bookings are now open at dealerships across India, with deliveries expected to begin in the first week of April.
Since its debut in 2023, the Shine 100 has helped Honda carve a strong presence in the entry-level commuter motorcycle market, traditionally led by Hero MotoCorp. Its competitive pricing and value-for-money appeal have attracted many potential buyers, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. With the 2025 model, Honda aims to sustain its growth and further strengthen its foothold in the segment.
