The Honda XL750 Transalp showcases a versatile design, seamlessly blending city-friendly agility with genuine off-road capability. Drawing inspiration from Honda’s top-tier Africa Twin, it features an aerodynamic front visor and dual LED projector headlamps. Its tall profile, along with spoke wheels measuring 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear, reinforces its adventure touring credentials. Buyers can choose between two striking colours — Ross White and Graphite Black.
The bike’s cockpit houses a 5-inch full-colour TFT screen, enhanced for better clarity in bright conditions thanks to optical bonding technology. It also comes equipped with Honda RoadSync, enabling riders to control navigation, calls, messages, and music via a convenient four-way switch. Other handy features include an emergency stop signal, automatic turn signal cancellation, and backlit switchgear, which improves ease of use during night rides.
At its core, the Transalp is powered by a 755cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 90.5 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and benefits from Throttle-by-Wire (TBW) technology, ensuring accurate throttle response across varying terrains.
Riders can select from five riding modes — Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User — each altering the bike’s power output, engine braking, traction control (HSTC), and ABS settings. This flexibility allows it to adapt to a range of environments, whether navigating busy streets or tackling rugged trails.
For suspension duties, the XL750 Transalp uses 43mm Showa USD front forks and a Pro-Link rear monoshock, both tuned for enhanced comfort and control over uneven terrain. Braking is managed by dual 310mm discs at the front and a 256mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS provided as standard, delivering reliable stopping power across all conditions.
