Honda Motorcycle has officially introduced the Rebel 500 to its Indian portfolio. Priced at ₹5.12 lakh (ex-showroom), the motorcycle is now available for bookings, with customer deliveries expected to commence in June 2025.
For now, the Rebel 500 is offered in a single paint option — Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic. This means buyers won’t have the liberty to pick from multiple colour variants. Staying true to its classic cruiser DNA, the Rebel 500 features a distinctive low-slung stance, wide handlebars, and a high-mounted fuel tank. Its retro-modern appeal is further enhanced by a round LED headlamp accompanied by circular turn indicators. The exposed engine layout adds a bold, muscular touch to the overall design.

The motorcycle is equipped with a split-seat configuration, although it doesn’t include a grab rail for the pillion rider. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, it gets a 296 mm disc up front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. The Rebel 500 comes with a single-pod digital instrument cluster that displays essential information such as speed, fuel level, RPM, and more — ensuring the rider stays well-informed on the go.
At the heart of the Rebel 500 is a 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. It produces 45.59 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 43.3 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The powerplant is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, offering a refined and enjoyable cruising experience.
