Honda’s Activa e has started arriving at dealerships, indicating that customer deliveries will begin soon. The company has opened bookings for the electric scooter in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai. The Activa e made its official debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
The scooter is powered by a 6 kW (8 bhp) PMS motor, producing a peak torque of 22 Nm. It features dual 1.5 kWh battery packs, delivering an IDC-certified range of 102 km on a full charge. It comes with a TFT digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. It supports music controls, call and SMS alerts, and navigation assistance. The scooter also offers three riding modes—Standard, Sport, and ECON. While ECON mode maximizes efficiency, Sport mode enhances performance.
A major highlight of the Activa e is its swappable dual-battery system, making recharging more convenient. Honda is expanding its charging network, with over 85 battery-swapping stations currently operating in Bengaluru, ensuring accessibility within a 5 km radius. The company is also working on extending its network to key locations in Delhi and Mumbai.
Honda Power Pack Energy India Private Limited (HEID) manages 84 battery-swapping stations across Bengaluru, with plans for further growth. Since launching a pilot project in 2021, HEID has been developing swappable charging stations for electric three-wheelers, and this initiative will now extend to the Activa e and future Honda EVs. Notably, the Activa e will exclusively use batteries provided by HEID.
