Ducati has unveiled the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia, a limited-edition model that pays homage to the brand’s Mugello victory. With only 163 units available worldwide, this special edition motorcycle boasts a striking blue livery, lightweight carbon fiber components, and an autographed tank cover by MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia.
Key Features:
- Personally autographed by Francesco Bagnaia
- Limited production run of 163 units
- 3kg lighter than the Panigale V4 S
- Incorporates premium carbon fiber components
- Design and Performance Enhancements
Based on the Panigale V4 S, the Tricolore Italia stands out with its exclusive Desmosedici GP24-inspired livery. However, its appeal extends beyond aesthetics, featuring performance-focused upgrades that enhance both handling and braking efficiency.
This model is equipped with Brembo GP4 Sport Production monoblock calipers and 338mm Brembo T-drive finned discs, offering superior stopping power. These discs, among the largest found on a production motorcycle, were previously introduced on the Panigale V4 Tricolore.
Further weight reduction is achieved through the inclusion of carbon fiber wheels, shedding 950 grams compared to the forged wheels on the V4 S. Overall, the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia weighs 188kg (wet weight without fuel), making it 3kg lighter than the standard Panigale V4 S.
Each Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia features a billet aluminum steering head, uniquely engraved with the model name and a distinctive identification number. Additionally, the left side of the steering head showcases the Mugello Circuit layout, while the right side displays a lap time of 1:45.770. These details are also reflected on the TFT dashboard during startup, reinforcing the bike’s racing heritage.
Powering this limited-edition model is Ducati’s Euro 5+ compliant 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. Generating 216hp at 13,500rpm and 120.9Nm of torque at 11,250rpm, it is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The engine retains the same tuning as the V4 S, ensuring a seamless blend of power and control.
Ducati recently introduced the Panigale V4 and V4 S in India at Rs 30 lakh and Rs 36 lakh, respectively. While the official pricing for the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is yet to be disclosed, its exclusivity and upgraded features suggest a premium price tag.
With its race-inspired design, advanced engineering, and limited availability, the Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is a highly desirable machine for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
