The Scrambler Icon Dark distinguishes itself with an all-black aesthetic. Unlike the bright, bold colors typically seen on Scrambler models, this version sports a matte black finish for a more understated yet aggressive look. Key design elements such as the fuel tank, engine casing, and body panels feature this dark theme, while the blacked-out fenders, plastic components, and smoked headlamp add to its stealthy appeal. Additionally, Ducati has removed the under-seat cowl, resulting in a cleaner and more streamlined rear profile. Riders can further customize their bike with optional accessories, including different seat trims, custom exhaust systems, and alternative body panel colors.
Mechanically, the Scrambler Icon Dark remains identical to the standard model, ensuring the same thrilling ride. It is powered by an 803cc, air-cooled, L-twin engine that generates 73hp and 65.2Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, and for enhanced performance, the bike is equipped with a quick-shifter, allowing for effortless gear changes.

Built on a trellis frame, the Scrambler Icon Dark offers a well-balanced ride, making it ideal for both urban commuting and highway cruising. The suspension setup consists of a 41mm USD fork at the front—finished in black to match the bike’s aesthetic—and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Stability is ensured with an 18-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, while braking is handled by a 320mm front disc and a 245mm rear disc. Dual-channel ABS comes standard, improving safety across different riding conditions.
Ducati has also equipped the Scrambler Icon Dark with modern technology to enhance the riding experience. The motorcycle features a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster with sharp graphics and essential ride data, along with smartphone connectivity for notifications and navigation. Safety features include cornering ABS and traction control for improved stability during acceleration and braking. Riders can also choose between two riding modes—Road and Sport—to customize the bike’s performance to their preference.
The launch of the Scrambler Icon Dark is a strategic move by Ducati to make its motorcycles more accessible while maintaining high levels of performance, design, and technology. By offering an affordable yet premium option, the brand aims to attract both experienced riders and newcomers looking to own a high-end motorcycle. This model retains the signature Scrambler DNA while introducing a sleek, dark visual appeal.
With bookings now open, Ducati fans in India have the opportunity to own a stylish, feature-packed, and performance-oriented motorcycle that embodies freedom and adventure. Whether navigating through city traffic or cruising on open roads, the Scrambler Icon Dark promises an engaging and dynamic ride.
