Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 50th Anniversary Edition of its iconic Gold Wing Tour, commemorating 50 years of this legendary luxury touring motorcycle. The 2025 model, priced at ₹39.90 lakh (ex-showroom), is now open for bookings exclusively at Honda’s premium BigWing Topline dealerships, with deliveries set to begin in June 2025.
Originally introduced in 1975, the Gold Wing series has built a global reputation for its advanced touring capabilities and comfort. This special edition pays homage to that legacy, featuring a distinct “50th Anniversary” emblem, refined styling elements, and a suite of modern features tailored for long-distance touring.
Commenting on the launch, Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President, and CEO of HMSI, said, “We’re thrilled to bring the 50th Anniversary Gold Wing Tour to India. This model honours five decades of unparalleled innovation and engineering in luxury touring motorcycles.”
Adding to this, Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing at HMSI, stated, “This anniversary edition is more than just a motorcycle — it’s a celebration of generations of riders who have embraced the spirit of luxury touring. It perfectly combines performance, elegance, and state-of-the-art technology.”
The 2025 Gold Wing Tour is powered by a robust 1833cc flat six-cylinder engine, delivering 126.4bhp and 170Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The bike also stands out with its full-LED lighting setup, aerodynamically designed vents, and a Bordeaux Red Metallic paint scheme available exclusively in the DCT variant.
Tech highlights include a 7.0-inch full-colour TFT display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, a premium audio system, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Riders can also choose from four distinct ride modes — Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain — to suit different riding conditions.
On the safety front, the Gold Wing Tour continues to set benchmarks with features like dual-channel ABS, traction control, throttle-by-wire, and an integrated airbag, reaffirming its position as a flagship offering in the luxury touring segment.
