From the available images, it’s evident that the 690 Rally is built on the foundation of the 690 Enduro R, a model that has been available for quite some time. However, the Rally version brings unique design upgrades and components suited for adventure touring.
One of the most noticeable features is a tall, rally-style windscreen, resembling those found on Dakar bikes. It also sports vertically stacked twin LED headlights for better visibility. The motorcycle is equipped with two large fuel tanks on either side, emphasizing its long-range touring capabilities. Additionally, a fuel filler cap positioned beneath the seat suggests the presence of a third fuel tank, enhancing its range.
Under the hood, the 690 Rally is expected to use the same 693cc single-cylinder engine as the 690 Enduro R, delivering around 74bhp and ample torque. It will come with a six-speed transmission, and there is speculation that KTM might include a quickshifter for enhanced riding dynamics.
Although an official launch date remains uncertain, an unveiling at EICMA 2025 seems likely. Positioned below the 890 Adventure R in KTM’s lineup, the 690 Rally is expected to be more affordable. Its competitive pricing, capable performance, and strong off-road credentials could make it a highly appealing option for the Indian market.
