Hyundai Creta remains a top contender in India’s mid-size SUV market, with over 1.2 million units sold since its launch in 2015. Now in its second generation, the Creta received its last major facelift in January last year. Hyundai has introduced an updated version for 2025, incorporating new features and two additional variants to enhance its appeal.

The latest update adds two new mid-spec trims: EX(O) and SX Premium. Positioned between the EX and S trims, the EX(O) variant includes premium features such as a panoramic sunroof and LED reading lights. Meanwhile, the SX Premium trim, placed between SX Tech and SX(O), comes with luxurious additions like scooped leather seats, ventilated front seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and an advanced 8-speaker Bose audio system.
Further upgrades to the top-end SX(O) variant include rain-sensing wipers, a rear wireless charger, and ergonomically designed scooped seats for added comfort. Additionally, Hyundai has introduced a Smart Key with a motion sensor, available from the S(O) trim onwards.
In terms of aesthetics, Hyundai has expanded the Creta’s color palette. The Titan Grey Matte and Starry Night shades are now accessible across all variants, offering more choices for buyers.
Under the hood, the 2025 Creta retains its existing powertrain options: a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-liter diesel engine, and a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, an IVT, and a 7-speed DCT automatic.
