The new Z900 will be available in two variants – Standard and SE. It adopts a sharper, more aggressive design while continuing with Kawasaki’s signature Sugomi styling. Notable changes include a redesigned LED headlamp, a muscular fuel tank, and updated tank extensions. The motorcycle also gets a new TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity, supporting voice commands through a headset. The screen provides crisp graphics and an intuitive layout for easy navigation.
Under the hood, the Z900 retains its 948cc inline-four engine, now refined to meet stricter emission regulations. It continues to deliver 123bhp and 97.4Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed transmission.
The suspension setup consists of adjustable USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear, while the SE variant gets an upgraded Öhlins rear suspension. The bike rides on Dunlop Sportmax tires for improved handling and grip.
In terms of technology, the 2025 Z900 comes with a revised electronics package. It now features an IMU-based system offering traction control, dual power modes, and dual-channel ABS. Additionally, it is equipped with cruise control and a bidirectional quick-shifter for a smoother ride.
With discounts on the outgoing model and the latest patent filings, the launch of the 2025 Kawasaki Z900 in India seems imminent. It is expected to be priced around ₹9.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
