One of the most prominent upgrades is the introduction of a front disc brake, likely the same unit found in the Splendor Plus Xtec, a variant that features a digital instrument cluster. This addition is set to improve braking efficiency and overall safety, offering better stopping power compared to the current drum brake setup. However, the rear brake system remains unchanged with a drum unit.
The motorcycle will also receive fresh color options, two of which were visible in the leaked footage. One features a striking red shade with golden decals, while the other sports a sleek grey finish. Furthermore, the engine is expected to comply with the upcoming OBD-2B regulations, though no major performance changes are anticipated. It will continue to be powered by a 97.2cc air-cooled engine that generates 7.91bhp and 8.05Nm of torque, paired with a four-speed gearbox.
At present, the Hero Splendor Plus is priced between ₹77,176 and ₹79,926 (ex-showroom). With these updates, a slight price revision is likely upon launch.
