Just when many assumed the Karizma XMR 210 had been quietly discontinued, Hero MotoCorp has caught enthusiasts off guard with a refreshed version of the entry-level sports tourer. Notably, the company hadn’t dispatched a single unit of the bike in the last four months, leading to widespread speculation about its fate.
Now, Hero has brought the Karizma back with several updates in its 2025 edition, including key feature enhancements and mechanical tweaks. The updated Karizma XMR 210 is offered in three variants — Base, Top, and the all-new Combat. Pricing starts at ₹1.81 lakh and goes up to ₹2.01 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Base version is available in three shades: Iconic Yellow, Turbo Red, and Matte Phantom Black. The Top variant shares the same palette, while the Combat version comes in a distinct Combat Grey color, blending black, grey, and yellow elements for a more aggressive, sporty appearance.
Among the standout changes is the addition of golden upside-down front forks, exclusive to the Top and Combat trims. Another major upgrade is the new 4.2-inch fully-digital TFT display replacing the previous LCD unit on the Base variant. This screen supports Bluetooth connectivity and offers turn-by-turn navigation, along with call/SMS notifications, battery status, and music controls.
Other standard features include full-LED lighting and a USB charging port. On the mechanical front, the Karizma retains its 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 25.15 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 20.4 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.
Hero MotoCorp also has plans to launch a more powerful Karizma XMR 250 later this year. This upcoming model was showcased at EICMA 2024 and later at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
